Q: How do I know I get the right compatible transceiver?

A: This is very simple, please tell us what the part number is of the OEM manufacturer where you are looking for and let us know what manufacturer the transceiver needs to be compatible with.

 

Q: I can’t find the items I need on your website, can you source it for me?

A: Yes, we can. Please contact us and tell us what you need and how many.

 

Q: Will using Funwaver Transcievers invalidate my OEM warranty?

A: Absolutely not. Using Funwaver products will NOT invalidate your warranty. OEMs cannot stipulate that only their products be used within their OEM systems in order to retain warranty. This would contravene anti-trust laws and it violates the Magnuson-Moss Act Warranty Act. This is a common misconception that prevents many customers from saving money by purchasing high quality compatible products such as Funwaver.

What does this mean to you?

With our Faulty Replacement & Lifetime Warranty guarantee, you are 100% covered in any scenario.

If a system has an issue and an OEM service warranty call is made, the OEM service professional will diagnose the system error. In the unlikely event that the engineer reports a defective Funwaver component, we will replacement the product. If the diagnosis reports a different issue, the OEM service professional is required to honor the warranty and fix said issue. In the end, you are 100% covered either way.

 

Q: Do you ship worldwide?

A: Yes, we do with some exceptions. This can also be done on your own shipping account. Please let us know who you want us to ship with, what your shipping account number is and what service you would like to use.

 

Q: Do you offer blind shipment?

A: Yes, we do send directly to your customer(s).

 

Q: How do I track my order?

A: As soon as we have processed your order you will receive notification of dispatch along with a tracking reference.

 

Q: Can you source goods for us when you do not post it on your website?

A: Yes, we can. Please mention the required quantity, manufacturer name (to be compatible with), part number(s) and/or specifications of the goods you are looking for.

 

Q: Do you accept credit cards?

A: No, we only accept bank wire payments.

 

Q: What warranty do you offer?

A: We offer a lifetime replacement warranty on all our Fibre Optic Transceivers, DACs, AOCs, Fibre Cables, Rackmount Equipment. For all other products, we mirror the warranty offered by the original manufacturer. Please refer to our Warranty Statement for further details.

 

Q: Do Funwaver products comply with European health, safety, and environmental protection standards?

A: Yes, all of our products comply with European health, safety, and environmental protection standards. The Certificate of Conformity (CE) logo is displayed on all our products. 

Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive (RoHS)

Limits the use of hazardous substances in electronic equipment in European Union markets. The RoHS logo is displayed on all our products. 

Federal Communications Commission (FCC)

Limits the radio frequency emitted from an electrical product. The FCC logo is displayed on all our products.
